What you'll do
Establish the annual industry events and hosted experiences calendar in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. This framework guides investment and ensures consistent presence across the fiscal year.
Define the narrative pillars and content architecture that turn complex logistics concepts into coherent event themes. These elements communicate value and reinforce the brand across event touchpoints.

Partner closely with Sales leadership and field teams to design event strategies that unblock pipeline, support quota attainment, and maintain continuity under pressure. This presence supports Sales efforts and maintains continuity under pressure.

Requirements
7+ years of B2B field marketing and enterprise event operations experience, with a track record of owning complex, multi-regional initiatives.
Demonstrated experience hosting events in B2B environments, including large conferences, intimate workshops, and roadshows.
Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and logistics for events ranging from regional sessions to marquee industry gatherings.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed for onsite management and activation, estimated at 25%, including occasional evenings and weekends to support critical events.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify sophisticated freight and logistics concepts for diverse audiences.
Comfort working in matrixed organizations, aligning with Sales, Product, Legal, and Finance stakeholders to advance shared objectives.
Proficiency in event platforms and martech tools such as Cvent, Salesforce, and HubSpot, with a mindset focused on clean data and reliable reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, combined with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Understanding of compliance and legal considerations in B2B event marketing, including privacy, disclosures, and platform terms.

Experience with transportation and logistics industry events, associations, and media partnerships.
Background in managing speaker programs, content tracks, and session-level design.
Familiarity with advanced attribution models that tie event activity to pipeline and revenue in B2B SaaS or marketplace environments.
