This includes providing support to the operations team and reporting to clients as needed. This position is also responsible for managing the daily operations, maintaining and reporting on standard work processes to ensure that the transportation solution for each account is fully maintained for accuracy and efficiency. This position will be located on-site with customers in Charlotte, NC and will require some travel.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 3">What the Candidate Will Do</span></span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for continuous improvement regarding processes, cost, service, and profitability</li> <li>Conflict resolution and problem solving</li> <li>Determine eligibility for additional non-committed freight to be awarded to internal brokerage services and actively support and encourage the awards</li> <li>Develop and distribute customer reports and internal performance management reports</li> <li>Negotiate and contract rate agreements with carriers, reconcile established rate levels with available purchased transportation providers, seek out new carriers to provide service at competitive rate levels</li> <li>Rate Quotes</li> <li>TMS Updates/Maintenance (including rates, SRG, OCA, FAM, SPT, etc.)</li> <li>Monitor and hold team accountable for all key job functions</li> <li>Review, analyze, and understand matters related to P&amp;Ls</li> <li>Deliver cost savings / cost containment to customer and/or Uber Freight</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 3">Basic Qualifications</span></span></strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma for GED equivalent</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of related experience</li> <li>Travel required&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 3">Preferred Qualifications</span></span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree</li> <li>4 years of logistics or customer service experience</li> <li>2 years of management experience</li> <li>Working Knowledge and Utilization of the appropriate TMS</li> <li>Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Tools / Google Workspace</li> <li>Reporting and Analytics (Ability to run BI reports; validate information; understand report, and offer feedback and deliver insights to your manager and or customer contacts on the information contained within the report)</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 3">About Uber Freight</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;134245418&quot;:true,&quot;134245529&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:160,&quot;335559739&quot;:80,&quot;335559740&quot;:278}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Uber Freight helps companies move goods more reliably and efficiently.
