About the role
Trawa is looking for a Netherlands Expansion Manager to own the end to end market entry strategy for the Dutch market starting in 2027. The hire will design and implement the commercial and operational blueprint required to establish Trawa as a trusted B2B energy platform in the Netherlands. This role requires owning the local value proposition, pricing framework, and partner ecosystem to ensure product market fit. The manager will align internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless customer experience from onboarding to ongoing account management. You will be responsible for building the local narrative and brand positioning that resonates with industrial energy buyers. This position demands ownership of regulatory interactions and go to market compliance specific to the Dutch jurisdiction. Success in this role will be measured by pipeline creation, conversion rates, and sustainable customer growth in the target market.

What you'll do
Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry plan for Trawa's B2B energy platform in the Netherlands.
Lead the identification and prioritization of target customer segments within the Dutch industrial and commercial energy landscape.
Establish local partnerships with key stakeholders, including energy brokers, utilities, and technology providers, to accelerate market adoption.
Own the localization of Trawa's value proposition, pricing models, and commercial terms to align with Dutch market expectations.
Coordinate closely with the Berlin headquarters to integrate product, legal, and operational workflows for the Dutch rollout.
Analyze local energy market data, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to refine positioning and strategic decisions.
Build and mentor a local go to market team, focusing on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Define and monitor key performance indicators to track adoption, retention, and revenue growth in the Netherlands.
Serve as the primary liaison between Dutch customers and internal product, legal, and support functions.
Drive the implementation of CRM and data tracking systems to capture insights and optimize customer journeys.
Ensure compliance with Dutch energy regulations and reporting standards, working with legal and finance partners as needed.
Represent Trawa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to elevate the brand presence in the region.
Requirements
You must be based in Amsterdam or be willing to relocate to establish your primary work base there.
You must possess a strong passion for the energy sector, with demonstrated knowledge or experience in B2B industrial energy solutions.
You must be fluent in both Dutch and English to communicate effectively with stakeholders, partners, and customers.
You must have the ability to lead projects and teams, showing strong organizational and multitasking skills in complex environments.
You must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
You must be willing to travel frequently to Berlin, especially during the initial phase of the role, to support integration and coordination.
You must have previous leadership experience, particularly in roles that required strategic decision-making and people management.
You must have familiarity with the Dutch energy market and its regulatory landscape or a willingness to rapidly acquire this knowledge.

Proficiency in the German language, which would be beneficial for communication with the Berlin team and cross border collaboration.

Practical notes
