What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple power generation and industrial projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedules, and resource allocation, while continuously monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project execution and alignment with client expectations.
- Conduct regular project meetings to communicate progress, address challenges, and facilitate problem-solving among team members and stakeholders.
- Oversee the financial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure profitability and financial health.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety on all job sites.
- Mentor and develop project teams, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution, implementing contingency plans as needed to minimize impact.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Participate in business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposal development for future projects.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the power generation or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, with a focus on power generation and industrial applications.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction and energy industries.
- Ability to travel as needed to project sites and client meetings.

- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
- Experience with renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, or hydroelectric power generation.
