Growth Marketer
Job description
Growth Marketer at Base360.ai.
About the role
Base360 serves B2C brands that lack a unified marketing system. The role tests channels to find scalable paths that support becoming an operating system for brands.
Marketing teams grow awareness and demand for a company's products. They write copy, run campaigns, manage channels, and measure results. The work spans content, paid ads, email, events, and search. Marketing roles combine creativity with data and constant testing. Marketing teams usually run experiments every week and keep the work that performs. Most companies hire specialists in channels such as paid search, email, or content.
Key facts
What you'll do
A single growth channel is managed from end to end, or multiple channels are handled, to define strategy and deliver measurable outcomes. Leads are generated and signups are driven by building and running motions across paid, SEO, outbound, and referral. Experiments run quickly to test hooks, audiences, funnels, and offers, with clear decisions on what to stop and what to scale. Research, copy, targeting, automation, and speed gain an edge through the use of modern tools for marketing workflows. Funnels and landing pages are constructed and refined, while conversion numbers at every step are tracked and improved. Results are translated into clear data stories that explain outcomes and reasoning to the founder and stakeholders.
Requirements
A degree is required as a baseline for the role. Growth experience is demonstrated through hands-on work with paid, SEO, outbound, content, or lifecycle marketing. Rapid skill acquisition allows specialization or generalist coverage across channels while learning tactics quickly. Data comfort enables tracking actions, analyzing attribution, and turning insight into measurable next steps. Drive pushes to set a goal and determine the approach without waiting for instructions. AI proficiency helps use modern tools to work faster and smarter than traditional marketing approaches. Scrappiness supports autonomous operation and ownership of results in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
Hands-on exposure to B2C brands or startups strengthens understanding of the target market.
Skills & tools
SEO, paid ads, copywriting, landing page builders, email automation, CRMs, and analytics platforms.
Practical notes
The role is fully remote with an expectation of UK-friendly working hours. You operate with founder-level ownership and accountability. Typical interview steps
Marketing interviews often include a portfolio review, a campaign exercise, and analytics questions. Candidates may be asked to plan a launch, write a brief, or improve a funnel. Some loops include a presentation. Results from past campaigns carry the most weight. Interviewers ask about specific campaigns you ran and what the numbers said. Preparing a short case of one campaign with its results is strong preparation.
Good to know
Modern marketing relies heavily on data and experimentation to validate ideas quickly. Teams often use tools to handle repetitive work and accelerate creative output. B2C brands depend on clear positioning and messaging to stand out in crowded markets. Remote work requires strong written communication and disciplined time management. Growth roles demand comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action.
Questions to ask
Worth asking in any interview: how the team measures success, who the role works with daily, what the onboarding looks like, and what the company is trying to achieve this year. Asking what past hires did well is a strong final question. Keep the list short and pick the questions that matter most to you.
Career growth
Marketing careers move from associate to manager, director, and VP levels. Specializations include growth, brand, product marketing, and content. Generalists often start, then specialize as they advance. Measured impact on pipeline and revenue drives progression. Marketing careers reward measurable results and adaptability. Channel experience plus business sense usually beats a general resume.
