What you'll do

• Lead the planning and execution of clinical engagement projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance patient engagement and retention in clinical trials.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, including clinical sites, patients, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution, developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Conduct training sessions for clinical staff and stakeholders on engagement tools and methodologies to ensure effective implementation.
• Analyze data and feedback from clinical trials to inform future engagement strategies and improve overall project outcomes.
• Prepare and present project reports, highlighting successes and areas for improvement to enhance future initiatives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions to enhance clinical engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in clinical research and patient engagement, integrating insights into project strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the clinical research industry.
• Proven track record of managing clinical engagement projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulations, and patient engagement strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.

Nice to have

• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with digital health technologies and their application in clinical research.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in clinical trials.
• Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
• Knowledge of patient advocacy and engagement initiatives.

Skills & tools

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel or Tableau.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences.

Practical notes

• This position is open to candidates who are willing to work remotely or from our Dublin office.
• The successful candidate will be expected to travel occasionally for project-related meetings and site visits.
