What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of clinical engagement projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance patient engagement and retention in clinical trials.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, including clinical sites, patients, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution, developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Conduct training sessions for clinical staff and stakeholders on engagement tools and methodologies to ensure effective implementation.
- Analyze data and feedback from clinical trials to inform future engagement strategies and improve overall project outcomes.
- Prepare and present project reports, highlighting successes and areas for improvement to enhance future initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions to enhance clinical engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in clinical research and patient engagement, integrating insights into project strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the clinical research industry.
- Proven track record of managing clinical engagement projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulations, and patient engagement strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Nice to have
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with digital health technologies and their application in clinical research.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in clinical trials.
- Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Knowledge of patient advocacy and engagement initiatives.
Skills & tools
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel or Tableau.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
- Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences.

- This position is open to candidates who are willing to work remotely or from our Dublin office.
- The successful candidate will be expected to travel occasionally for project-related meetings and site visits.
