Bamboohr is seeking a Clinical Engagement Coordinator to support its mission of improving clinical trial operations through technology. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with clinical research sites and healthcare professionals who participate in clinical studies. This position works closely with internal teams to ensure that site engagement strategies align with the company's broader objectives for clinical trial efficiency and participant recruitment. The coordinator serves as a key point of contact for sites, helping them navigate the clinical trial process and access relevant resources. By fostering strong site partnerships, the coordinator helps ensure that clinical trials can enroll participants efficiently and generate reliable data for regulatory review.

What you'll do

Support clinical research sites throughout the trial lifecycle by providing timely and accurate information about study requirements and procedures.

Build and maintain professional relationships with investigators, site staff, and other stakeholders involved in clinical research activities.

Coordinate site initiation activities, including onboarding materials, training sessions, and documentation needed to begin patient enrollment.

Monitor site performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve recruitment rates and data quality across active studies.

Collaborate with the clinical operations team to develop site engagement plans tailored to specific therapeutic areas and study protocols.

Respond to site inquiries and resolve issues related to study conduct, regulatory submissions, or protocol adherence in a timely manner.

Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person meetings, workshops, and training events for clinical research professionals.

Maintain detailed records of site interactions, engagement activities, and outcomes in the company's internal systems.

Assist in the preparation of site-facing communications, including newsletters, updates, and educational materials about ongoing and upcoming trials.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather feedback from sites and translate that input into actionable improvements for trial processes.

Requirements

Experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or a related field with a solid understanding of the clinical trial landscape.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex clinical trial information clearly to diverse audiences.

Proven ability to build and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals and research site personnel.

Organized approach to work with demonstrated skill in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines simultaneously.

Familiarity with clinical trial regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Comfortable working with remote teams and managing virtual engagement activities across different time zones.

Bachelor's degree in a life science, healthcare, or related discipline is required.

Experience using clinical trial management systems or electronic data capture platforms is preferred.

Nice to have

Experience working with decentralized or hybrid clinical trial models and understanding of remote site engagement strategies.

Knowledge of therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiology, or rare diseases is a plus.

Prior experience with site feasibility assessments and site selection processes for clinical studies.

Familiarity with regulatory submission processes and documentation requirements for clinical trial initiation.

Skills & tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation tasks.

Experience with customer relationship management or site management platforms used in clinical research.

Ability to use video conferencing and collaboration tools for virtual site engagement and training sessions.

Understanding of clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture software commonly used in the industry.

Strong data entry and record-keeping skills with attention to accuracy and detail in documentation.

Capability to navigate internal databases and generate reports to track site engagement metrics over time.

Practical notes

This is a full-time remote position based out of Dublin, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining regular collaboration with the team.

Candidates should expect to participate in occasional in-person meetings or site visits as part of the engagement strategy.

The role reports to the clinical operations leadership team and works in close coordination with cross-functional departments.
