About the role
You will own the end to end delivery of complex VCF programs working directly with C level stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. You will orchestrate cross functional squads aligning design, build and validation activities into a coherent delivery stream. You will establish and maintain rigorous governance ensuring that risks issues and dependencies are transparently managed. You will drive the definition of delivery milestones and success criteria in collaboration with technical leads and business sponsors. You will act as the primary liaison between our enterprise customers and internal technical teams. You will champion continuous improvement by analyzing delivery metrics and refining our PMO playbooks. You will mentor junior project staff and elevate the standard of project management excellence across the VCF practice. You will leverage industry best practices to ensure that every engagement reinforces our commitment to quality and predictability.

What you'll do
Establish a clear line of sight between strategic business objectives and detailed project execution plans for VCF initiatives.
Translate ambiguous requirements into actionable backlogs and work packages that technical teams can execute against with confidence.
Design and implement end to end project schedules that balance resource constraints, technical dependencies, and customer milestones.
Own the maintenance of the project management office standards ensuring that templates, workflows, and reporting artifacts remain current and useful.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions capturing decisions, resolving conflicts, and documenting outcomes for future reference.
Implement robust risk and issue management frameworks tracking mitigation actions to closure and escalating when necessary.
Drive the configuration management of project artifacts ensuring that baselines, change requests, and approvals are handled systematically.
Monitor project financials tracking budget versus forecast and communicating variances to leadership in a timely and transparent manner.
Facilitate cross functional ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to maintain alignment across distributed teams.
Champion the adoption of new tools and techniques that enhance planning accuracy, visibility, and delivery predictability for VCF programs.
Perform proactive status reporting synthesizing complex information into concise narratives for executive and operational audiences.
Ensure that all project activities comply with contractual obligations, service level agreements, and internal quality standards.
Promote a culture of safety where team members can raise concerns, challenge assumptions, and propose improvements without fear of retribution.
Leverage data driven insights to continuously refine delivery models, improve forecasting accuracy, and increase customer satisfaction.
Requirements
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
You must demonstrate a solid track record of managing complex technology projects in enterprise environments.
You must have experience working with virtual infrastructure platforms and cloud transformation initiatives.
You must be proficient in standard project management methodologies including but not limited to Agile and Waterfall.
You must have strong written and verbal communication skills capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
You must be comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities and ambiguous problem statements.
You must have a history of delivering projects on time and within defined scope constraints.
You must hold a professional certification in project management such as PMP or equivalent.
Nice to have
Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and related SDDC technologies is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with automation and infrastructure as code concepts is a distinct advantage.
Prior work in a professional services or consulting capacity is viewed favorably.
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL is beneficial for this role.
Experience with financial modeling and budget management adds further value to your contributions.

This is a full time position based in the United States.
Travel requirements may apply depending on project needs and client locations.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
