Corporate Development
Job description
About the role
Stripe is seeking an integration specialist to join the Corporate Development M&A team. You will lead the operational lifecycle of company acquisitions, acting as the primary bridge between acquired entities and the internal Stripe departments that will absorb them. This is the role that turns a paper deal - the announcement, the press release, the closing - into an actual company that works as one: people onboarded, systems migrated, contracts renegotiated, and product teams genuinely integrated. You will sit at the center of ambiguity, because every acquisition arrives with its own shape, its own culture, and its own unfinished business, and none of it ships with a playbook. If you enjoy taking unstructured, high-stakes situations and making them feel boring and orderly through relentless attention to detail, that is exactly what integration leadership demands of you here, based in San Francisco or New York City. The team's remit runs from the day diligence begins to long after the press release, so the arc of your work is measured in quarters, not sprints.
Key facts
What you'll do
You will direct the end-to-end program management of a major integration workstream, including planning, dependency mapping, and risk mitigation, from announcement through closing. You will determine the strategic pacing and sequencing of integration activities throughout the deal lifecycle, deciding what happens first and what can safely wait. You will serve as the primary point of contact for functional leads in People, Finance, Legal, CorpTech, GTM, and Product, connecting them to the deal and drawing out their requirements. You will monitor and report on acquisition performance metrics, identifying necessary escalations before they become surprises, and representing the integration team in cross-functional meetings while advocating for specific integration strategies. You will structure ambiguous project environments into clear, actionable plans that people can execute against without waiting to be told what to do. You will also use Stripe-approved AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency and output quality, treating as part of your toolkit rather than an afterthought - and modeling for the organization what disciplined AI use looks like in high-pressure program work.
Requirements
4 to 8 years of professional experience in operations, finance, sales operations, marketing operations, or strategy is the starting point. You have a proven history of managing complex multi-stakeholder projects end to end, complete with the artifacts that hard work leaves behind: careful planning, mapped dependencies, transparent status that lets leadership act early, and calm replanning when reality shifts under you. You can navigate high-stakes environments and meet deadlines without an existing playbook, which is the exact definition of this team's working reality, and you stay constructive when information is thin. Success here is about ownership, follow-through, and the composure to keep a room of senior operators moving even while consensus is still forming.
Nice to have
Prior experience in M&A or integration work will immediately raise your effectiveness, and a demonstrated ability to drive outcomes across diverse functions without relying on formal authority fits the way integration operates. Strong communication with a decision-first message is always welcome. Active, practical experience using AI tools to enhance professional output is a genuine plus in this seat.

Practical notes
Stripe encourages all candidates who meet the minimum requirements to submit an application. Preferred qualifications are considered a bonus rather than a mandatory baseline, so early-career integration experience drawn from adjacent roles is still a viable path into this team.
