Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure
Job description
About the role
You will work with teams across Stripe to identify and resolve cross-functional infrastructure pain points by defining and executing technical programs that span payment systems and core platform domains. You will author high-quality written proposals, communications, and documentation that clarify complex technical designs and trade-offs for diverse audiences. You will partner deeply with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, Engineers, and other Technical Program Managers to scope, define, and drive large-scale programs to successful conclusion. You will play a key role in shaping technical design, anticipating roadblocks, and balancing trade-offs through close collaboration with engineering teams. You will develop, implement, and iterate on program management techniques, frameworks, and KPIs to ensure clear goals and measurable success criteria. You will elevate the execution capability of engineering teams around you and train them to improve delivery practices where needed. You will influence peers and stakeholders to build consensus while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities at scale.
