Account Executive, Chicago
Job description
About the role
This role focuses on owning the complete sales cycle for programmatic advertising within the Chicago territory. You will translate client objectives into active paid campaigns and drive consistent growth. Collaboration with internal groups ensures that proposed solutions align with long-term business goals. The position emphasizes partnership, strategic expansion, and measurable impact for each client.
StackAdapt operates as a remote-first organization, with regional sales teams in place. For this position, priority is given to candidates based in the Greater Chicagoland Area. This geographic focus supports stronger client relationships and responsiveness within the local market.
Key Responsibilities
You will identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with agencies and brands specific to Chicago. This involves creating targeted outreach and shaping compelling narratives that highlight platform value. You will work closely with product and management teams to define specifications and ensure offerings match client requirements precisely.
Managing existing client relationships is a core duty, with attention to account growth and discovery of new opportunities. You will coordinate with dedicated StackAdapt Account Managers to expand and retain current accounts. This includes presenting new campaign strategies and solutions that reinforce client trust and satisfaction.
Educating stakeholders on platform capabilities ensures they understand how programmatic advertising delivers measurable outcomes. You will champion data-driven decisions to refine pitches and improve win rates across the entire sales funnel. Qualifying opportunities early and managing pipeline stages will be essential to hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
Regional travel may be required to meet clients and strengthen your local presence within the Chicago territory. Each interaction should reinforce StackAdapt's position as a strategic partner rather than a simple vendor.

The compensation range for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in the posting country based on global rate. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate's current location.
