About the role

You will architect and own the core user interface layer that powers India's leading fixed-income investment platform, translating complex product data into clear, fast, and trustworthy digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with founders who have built category-defining wealth-tech businesses, ensuring that your work directly supports a mission to modernize how over 230 million Indians save and invest. You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation of high-traffic features such as instant withdrawal flows, bank and NBFC partnerships, and curated fixed-income portfolio displays. You will write production-grade code that meets strict security and compliance standards while optimizing for performance, scalability, and clarity across a diverse set of Indian devices and network conditions. You will partner with product and design to iterate rapidly on user journeys, translating business requirements into robust, testable, and maintainable frontend architectures. You will contribute to technical decision-making, code reviews, and best practices that uphold the trust-first ethos of the platform since day one. You will help define the frontend roadmap, balancing near-term feature delivery with long-term platform stability and developer experience. You will work on features that enable on-ground expansion into key cities and deepen direct banking relationships, ensuring the digital experience matches the ambition of our users and investors.

What you'll do

Architect and maintain the frontend architecture for our fixed-income investment platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across user flows.

Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces for critical features such as instant withdrawal, fixed deposit booking, and instrument discovery.

Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams to translate product strategy into pixel-perfect and behaviorally consistent digital experiences.

Optimize application speed and runtime efficiency, focusing on fast time-to-interactive and low-latency interactions for users across varying network conditions.

Integrate with backend APIs, banking and NBFC systems, and third-party services to enable seamless data exchange and reliable transaction handling.

Develop and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency and speed across new and existing features.

Write comprehensive tests and establish robust debugging workflows to maintain high code quality and reduce production incidents.

Partner with data and compliance teams to ensure that all user-facing financial data is accurate, clear, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Lead frontend debugging and incident response for production issues, coordinating with backend and product teams to resolve complex problems.

Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance, code reviews, and constructive feedback to elevate the overall quality of the codebase.

Contribute to scoping and estimation of frontend work, breaking down features into manageable tasks aligned with delivery timelines.

Advocate for best practices in version control, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines to streamline frontend development and releases.

Support the expansion into new cities and products by building adaptable UI components that work across diverse regional and regulatory requirements.

Help define and execute the frontend roadmap, balancing experimental features with core stability improvements and trust-building initiatives.

Requirements

You are a graduate with a strong academic background, demonstrating consistent excellence in computer science or a related technical field.

You bring 6 to 8 years of professional full-time experience in web development, with a proven track record of delivering complex user-facing features at scale.

You have deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, including but not limited to JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and associated tooling ecosystems.

You are comfortable designing and implementing responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces that work seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices.

You have hands-on experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs, authentication systems, and third-party financial services.

You understand the unique challenges of working in regulated financial environments and can implement solutions that prioritize security, compliance, and user trust.

You are comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of code quality.

You communicate clearly and professionally, with strong written and verbal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across India and globally.

Nice to have

Experience building products for mass-market financial services in India, with an understanding of local user expectations and device diversity.

Familiarity with compliance and security best practices for financial applications, including data protection and auditability.

Exposure to working with banking and NBFC APIs, and experience contributing to trust and transparency in financial user flows.

Practical notes

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Bengaluru.

The position requires availability during standard business hours for collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners across India.
