Job description
About the role
Stable Money is a financial technology company dedicated to securing household wealth through disciplined fixed-income strategies. The organization operates with the mission to make fixed-income investing accessible, transparent, and reliable for retail investors across India.
The current investment landscape in India presents a clear opportunity. Household financial assets remain concentrated in fixed-income instruments that often deliver low yields and suffer from tax inefficiency. Meanwhile, alternative fixed-income products have grown increasingly complex, creating a need for simplification. Stable Money intends to address this gap by leveraging technology to improve discoverability, demystify intricate products, and deploy analytics-driven portfolio construction. The rising interest rate cycle and the volatility in equity markets further strengthen the rationale for launching a platform focused on predictable risk-adjusted returns.
The company recently concluded a USD 15 Million Series A funding round. The round was led by RTP Global, Matrix Partners India, and Lightspeed India, with participation from Titan Capital, Mars Shot Ventures, and over 40 marquee angel investors. This capital provides a strong foundation to scale product development and expand market reach.
The core team combines deep expertise in wealth technology and product strategy. Saurabh Jain is an IIT Bombay alumnus with prior leadership experience as CEO of Navi Mutual Fund and driving Swiggy's expansion into more than 500 cities. Harish Reddy, also an IIT Bombay graduate, brings extensive experience in wealth product strategy and technology implementation from his previous role at Estee Advisors. Their complementary backgrounds in wealth-tech businesses support the creation of a scalable, value-accretive enterprise.
Stable Money fosters an entrepreneurial culture with a flat hierarchy. The environment is designed to be welcoming, open, and inquisitive, where issues and ideas can be discussed freely and frankly. Team members are encouraged to innovate, take on challenging problems, and learn continuously. Joining the company means participating in a early-stage fintech venture's journey from concept to product-market fit.

Stable Money is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to own the testing lifecycle for its fixed-income product suite. This role is critical to de-risking complex financial instruments and ensuring that investor returns remain predictable and secure. The position is based in Bengaluru and is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a compensation package of 24 LPA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing test scenarios that validate the behavior of portfolio management modules before any code is written. You will automate scripts to verify transaction flows under shifting rate conditions and execute regression suites to confirm stability across diverse fixed-income categories. A key responsibility involves reviewing system logs in collaboration with developers to isolate faults in interest calculation logic. You will work closely with financial analysts to ensure that tax handling aligns with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Another important duty is to choreograph test data environments so that risk scenarios accurately reflect real-world market boundaries and edge cases. You will also sign off on release readiness after verifying compliance and performance baselines. In production, you will partner with operations teams to document workflows and support issue triage to minimize downtime and maintain service integrity.
To excel in this role, you must bring three to five years of professional experience in software testing. Hands-on expertise in API and database validation is essential, along with practical experience in fixed-income instruments or wealth platforms. You should be proficient in writing queries to verify transaction accuracy and maintain data integrity.
Familiarity with the Stable Money product interfaces is optional but considered a valuable advantage. The ideal candidate will use tools such as JIRA, Postman, SQL, Python, and TestRail to perform rigorous testing and communicate results effectively.
