Manager, Salesforce
Job description
About the role
The Manager, Salesforce serves as a player-coach who owns the end-to-end health and evolution of the SpotHero Salesforce platform. This position blends hands-on technical delivery with people leadership, requiring deep expertise in architecture, development, and administration to guide the Salesforce team. The role owns enterprise architecture decisions, roadmap planning, and the successful execution of integrations that connect our marketplace to critical external systems. You will spend your time balancing strategic technical design with coaching one Salesforce Developer and one Salesforce Admin toward shared goals. This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Management and acts as the technical conscience of the marketplace operations team. You are expected to remove blockers, define quality standards, and ensure the platform scales reliably as driver demand grows. Success is measured by your ability to enable other teams through technology, process, and talent development.

Evaluate and govern AppExchange solutions and third-party managed packages using a structured decision framework to maximize value and minimize risk.
Act as the final technical escalation point for complex Salesforce issues, driving root cause analyses and coordinating platform outage responses.

Translate ambiguous business priorities from Sales, Partnerships, Supply Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Accounting into sprint-ready technical work.
Manage vendor relationships with Salesforce support, account managers, and SaaS integration partners to ensure alignment with SpotHero objectives.
