This role is on the Growth team, where you will scale the global reach and performance of the Starlink satellite network. You will act as the primary finance partner for consumer growth, managing demand forecasting, budgeting, and long-term business planning, and you will coordinate with product engineering, software, global operations, supply chain, and S&OP teams to drive product roadmaps and launch schedules. The work directly supports expanding the consumer broadband subscriber base.
The role blends finance, strategy, and operations. You will refine planning and reporting workflows to increase decision-making speed, evaluate the financial outcomes of growth experiments to prioritize engineering and business initiatives, and consumer analytics to determine the effectiveness of various demand generation strategies. You will also develop and implement growth programs and marketing campaigns to boost customer acquisition.
Succeeding in this role requires strong financial modeling and strategic thinking. Candidates with experience in investment banking, management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, or business operations, and with experience in early or growth stage startups within lean teams, will be well prepared. Proficiency in SQL or Python and a background in financial analysis are strong advantages. Requirements
- Bachelor degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in investment banking, management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, or business operations.
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing financial modeling in Excel.
- Must meet ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations.
- 1+ years of experience in early or growth stage startups within lean teams.
- Proficiency in SQL or Python.
- Background in financial analysis.
- Experience in maritime, automotive, consumer products, technology, or telecom sectors.
- Ability to lead complex strategic and operational initiatives.

Practical notes
Compensation: Level 1 ($80,000 - $115,000) or Level 2 ($95,000 - $145,000) based on experience and skills. Benefits: eligibility for company stock, long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Availability: must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as required. Travel: willingness to travel to SpaceX sites, customer locations, and events is necessary.
