About the role
The is responsible for architecting and executing market management strategies that unlock maximum product value and customer return on investment. This leader owns the end to end optimisation of revenue and distribution performance through a world class market performance team. They will build and scale a centre of excellence that ensures hotel customers derive tangible value from SiteMinder's platform, channel mix, and pricing capabilities. The role demands strategic leadership, commercial rigour, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable programs. Success is defined by measurable uplift in customer retention, revenue outcomes, and long term partnership value.

What you'll do
Design and implement comprehensive market management strategies that maximise product value and drive customer ROI, with a strong emphasis on revenue and distribution optimisation.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team of Market Performance Team Leads and Specialists, building deep capability in revenue and distribution management through coaching and structured feedback.
Own the end to end optimisation and revenue pipeline, including forecasting, prioritisation, and resource allocation, while monitoring pipeline health, conversion, and velocity.
Build and maintain clear performance reporting on optimisation pipeline, revenue impact, and team productivity to provide visibility to internal stakeholders and customers.
Design and oversee distribution strategies that optimise mix across OTAs, direct channels, GDS, and other partners to drive profitable bookings for hotels.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to ensure market performance insights directly inform product development and go to market strategies.
Create and implement scalable optimisation programs that systematically improve customer outcomes and revenue performance across diverse hotel segments and tiers.
Consistently meet or exceed team KPIs by monitoring pipeline, revenue, and productivity metrics, and coaching team members to improve conversion, quality, and impact.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, representing the market performance function in executive forums and championing customer and revenue outcomes.
Identify opportunities to enhance optimisation processes, tools, and methodologies, driving innovation in market performance and revenue optimisation to sustain competitive advantage.
Champion data informed decision making, using analytics to manage the pipeline, demonstrate ROI, and guide strategic choices in pricing, inventory, and channel management.
Leverage deep knowledge of hotel revenue management concepts such as demand forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory control, and competitive set analysis to shape program design.
Act as the central point for distribution diagnostics, enabling the team to diagnose channel performance issues rapidly and execute corrective actions.
Drive the delivery of measurable uplift in customer value, retention, and revenue outcomes through disciplined program management and cross functional collaboration.
Requirements
Extensive experience in market management at an OTA, customer success, upgrade sales, account management or similar customer facing roles, with good experience in a leadership position managing teams.
Proven track record of designing and implementing successful market performance and or optimisation programs that drive measurable revenue and customer outcomes.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform strategic decision making, manage a pipeline, and demonstrate ROI through metrics such as RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, channel mix, conversion, and productivity.
Solid grounding in hotel revenue management concepts, including demand forecasting, pricing, inventory, channel management, and competitive set analysis.
Experience leading and developing high performing teams in a fast paced, data driven environment, with a focus on capability building and performance management.
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with cross functional stakeholders such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to align on strategy and execution.
Strong ownership and results orientation, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations and executive level narratives.
