In this role, you will leverage deep industry expertise to advise clients on how to optimize revenue and guest acquisition through SiteMinder's platform. You will build and manage a strategic pipeline that balances high-value enterprise accounts with a diverse base of independent properties. Your work will directly influence long-term partnerships and shape the commercial narrative of the DACH market. You will be expected to represent the company as a trusted advisor in every interaction. This position requires a proactive mindset that thrives on ownership and measurable results. What you'll do
Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the DACH territory using strategic segmentation and rigorous pipeline management.
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to uncover client business challenges and translate them into tailored solutions that drive revenue outcomes.
Present product capabilities and value propositions to diverse stakeholders, including hoteliers, group executives, and travel technology partners.
Negotiate and structure commercial proposals that balance client value with SiteMinder's profitability and strategic objectives.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract execution, ensuring a seamless handover to implementation teams.
Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate forecasting, track opportunity progress, and generate actionable insights for leadership review.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine messaging and improve market positioning.
Develop and execute account plans that prioritize high-potential clients and outline clear paths for expansion and retention.
Represent SiteMinder at industry conferences, events, and webinars to strengthen brand presence and generate qualified leads.
Build and maintain relationships with key associations and groups to stay informed on sector trends and policy changes.
Travel to client locations and partner events within the DACH region to foster personal connections and deepen trust.
Monitor competitive landscape dynamics and provide feedback to product and sales teams on market shifts.
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets by consistently driving deals through the pipeline with disciplined execution.
Demonstrate mastery of sales analytics to adjust strategies in real time and optimize performance against KPIs.
Serve as an internal champion for process improvements that enhance the sales experience and customer journey.
Requirements
You possess a proven track record in sales or business development roles with clear evidence of full-cycle responsibility for closing deals.
Your experience must include engagement with SaaS, hospitality technology, hotel operations, revenue management, or closely related commercial services.
You have a solid understanding of the hospitality value chain, including hotel management, distribution strategies, and guest acquisition mechanics.
You operate effectively as a consultative seller, using discovery and insight to influence decision-making at multiple organizational levels.
You are comfortable working autonomously with strong remote-ready communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening capabilities.
You exhibit resilience and a growth mindset, showing high self-motivation and a commitment to continuous learning and feedback absorption.
You are analytically driven, with advanced proficiency in CRM and sales tools that enable data-backed decision making.
You are fluent in German at a minimum C2 level and proficient in English, enabling clear and professional interactions with all stakeholders.
Practical notes
The role is full-time based in Berlin. Occasional travel within the DACH region is required to meet with clients and attend industry functions. You will be invited to participate in a month-long sales training and onboarding program to ensure you are fully equipped for success. The position reports to a dedicated team leader who will provide coaching, guidance, and career development support.
