What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their professional development and performance.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure integration of engineering solutions into manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement engineering best practices, methodologies, and standards to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across projects.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering technologies, integrating relevant innovations into our processes.
- Prepare and present project updates and technical reports to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation for engineering projects, ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and materials.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.
- Drive initiatives for process improvement, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to enhance productivity.
- Participate in recruitment efforts to attract top engineering talent, contributing to the growth and capability of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management or a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles, with the ability to apply them effectively in a practical setting.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
