This part-time position is essential for maintaining the safety and security of our facilities located in Fort Totten, North Dakota. What you'll do

• Monitor surveillance systems and security cameras to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure all areas are secure and free from unauthorized individuals.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related issues that arise during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, addressing their concerns and inquiries regarding security matters.
• Assist in the implementation of security protocols and procedures to enhance overall safety measures.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest security practices and technologies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct investigations into incidents as needed, gathering evidence and preparing reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal regulations related to security and safety.
• Engage in community outreach efforts to foster positive relationships between Bamboohr and the local community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a security role or similar position, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and the public.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently, making sound decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with security systems and technology, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid is advantageous.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for patrol duties.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is beneficial.
