About the role
You will lead a team of Commercial Account Executives in London, driving outstanding results across the EMEA region. You will mentor and coach your team within a velocity sales environment, ensuring they excel and grow alongside a rapidly scaling business. This role offers the opportunity to partner with customers and internal stakeholders to expand Sigma's footprint in the Data and BI space. You will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your experience to influence strategy and execution. Key facts
What you'll do
Lead and mentor a team of Commercial Account Executives targeting organizations with up to 2000 employees.
Drive revenue growth and achieve team targets through a streamlined and scalable sales motion.
Partner with internal teams to align on go-to-market strategies and operational excellence.
Establish and refine best practices for prospecting, pipeline management, and deal closure.
Act as a trusted advisor to both customers and Sigma's leadership team.
Leverage your expertise to ensure the team excels in a velocity sales environment.
Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing strategic deals.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities and remove barriers.
Analyze performance metrics to guide coaching and improve team effectiveness.
Champion Sigma's value proposition to differentiate against competitors in the market.
Support the development of account plans that drive long-term customer growth.
Requirements
Few years of experience managing a successful commercial sales team in a B2B SaaS/software company, OR few years of individual contributor experience in a velocity B2B SaaS sales role with proven results and a desire to transition into management.
Experience in the Data/BI/Analytics space is a plus but not required.
Strong leadership and coaching skills with a hands-on approach.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A collaborative, results-driven mindset with the ability to influence and inspire.
Comfortable working with data and sales metrics to inform decision-making.
Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to embrace Sigma's innovative tools and methodologies in a cloud data warehouse context.
Committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
