Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including People Operations, IT, Finance, and Talent, to cultivate a welcoming office environment for employees and visitors alike.
- Plan and execute a variety of events designed to boost team engagement and enhance the employee experience, such as offsite retreats, internal meetings, and social gatherings.
- Liaise with external vendors to manage budgets for catering, venue rentals, and travel logistics, ensuring all events run smoothly.
- Create and implement efficient processes for managing employee logistics, including building access and security protocols.
- Oversee the onboarding journey for new employees, which includes organizing seating arrangements, desk setups, and orientation sessions.
- Manage the lifecycle of office supplies, from procurement and inventory management to maintaining relationships with vendors.
- Act as the primary liaison with building management to address any operational needs or concerns.
- Work closely with the People Operations team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
- Continuously seek feedback from employees to identify areas for improvement in the workplace experience.
- Develop and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Sigma Computing's values and culture.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of workplace initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Foster a sense of community within the office by promoting inclusivity and collaboration among team members.
Requirements
- A strong focus on people and their experiences in the workplace.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Workplace Experience or Office Management, ideally within a technology or startup environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to anticipating needs and clarifying requirements.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in organizing internal events and managing relationships with vendors.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment that demands high performance and adaptability.
- A track record of successfully driving projects to completion, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
