What you'll do
- Lead and manage the EMEA sales and service teams, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the EMEA region.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and potential threats.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service, ensuring that all client inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for the sales and service teams to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
- Represent Seakeeper at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the brand and network with potential clients.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Drive the implementation of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in sales and service operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all sales and service activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the marine or related industries, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and practices, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the EMEA region to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the EMEA region is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
