Savvy is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Client Transition Specialist to join our advisor transitions team. This position is crucial for ensuring that newly onboarded advisors can smoothly transfer their client assets to the Savvy platform. As the primary point of contact for these transitions, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience that reflects our dedication to outstanding service.

What you'll do
- Oversee the entire process of transitioning advisor practices, starting from the initial paperwork through to the final account transfers across various custodians.
- Prepare and accurately submit all necessary account documentation, with a strong emphasis on minimizing errors to avoid delays in the transfer process.
- Ensure the integrity of client information by managing data preparation and validation meticulously.
- Act as the main point of contact for advisors undergoing transitions, providing consistent updates and ensuring that each migration adheres to the established timeline.
- Collaborate effectively with custodians, external partners, and internal teams such as Operations, Product, and Client Servicing to address and resolve any issues that may arise during the transition.
- Manage multiple advisor transitions at once, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders and adjusting to shifting priorities as needed.
- Monitor the progress of each transition closely, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Contribute to the improvement of team processes and the creation of scalable, automated workflows to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- A background of 3 to 5 years in client operations, account transitions, onboarding, or account management within the wealth management industry is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a quick learning ability are necessary to master new custodial platforms and tools independently.
- Practical experience with various custodians and a solid understanding of the documentation involved in account transfers and onboarding processes are required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A strong instinct for data hygiene, including proficiency with spreadsheets, validation logic, and a commitment to identifying errors, is needed.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for building strong relationships, demonstrating empathy, and keeping advisors informed and reassured throughout the process.
- A collaborative, humble, and self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of ownership is important for success in this role.
- Proficiency in technology and the ability to quickly learn new tools, including AI technologies, are necessary.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment characterized by rapid growth and change is essential.
Nice to have
- Experience with Schwab and/or Fidelity custodial platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with ACAT transfers, LPOA/repapering processes, NIGO resolution, DocuSign, Orion, or Salesforce would be advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including functions like lookups, data validation, and data cleaning, are preferred.
- Previous experience in a fast-growing startup, a custodian, an RIA, or a broker-dealer is beneficial.
- Familiarity with AI tools for tasks related to data or document management, such as validation, drafting, or summarization, is a bonus.
