Become a vital part of Savvy as a Senior IT Operations Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting internal teams and financial advisors. In this position, you will oversee a hybrid environment that includes both macOS and Windows systems while enhancing various SaaS platforms. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high productivity levels across the organization.

What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive support for both macOS and Windows operating systems, addressing ticketing requests and troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Assist financial advisors during their onboarding process and offer continuous support, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Manage the migration of advisors' emails and files to Google Workspace, while also handling necessary DNS modifications.
- Oversee DNS record administration across various providers, including Cloudflare, GoDaddy, and Google Cloud DNS, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Facilitate the provisioning and deprovisioning of IT resources for employees and advisors, which includes setting up accounts and devices.
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams to enhance the overall experience for employees and advisors, fostering a supportive environment.
- Maintain and manage office networking, audiovisual systems, and the physical security infrastructure to ensure operational integrity.
- Develop and refine IT processes, runbooks, and user documentation using Notion, contributing to a more organized workflow.
- Engage in automation initiatives aimed at streamlining employee and advisor lifecycles, as well as improving SaaS governance.
- Cultivate relationships with SaaS vendors and oversee the procurement and renewal of IT equipment, ensuring the organization has the necessary tools.
- Lead various IT projects and act as a primary escalation point for technical challenges, providing expert guidance and solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT support experience, with a focus on user onboarding, offboarding, and device management.
- Strong expertise in Google Workspace administration and familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- A solid grasp of DNS fundamentals, including different record types and email authentication, with the ability to implement changes confidently.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships, including face-to-face interactions with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to varied audiences and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to document and create IT processes and procedures effectively.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including access controls and principles of least-privilege access.
- Strong writing abilities that align with Savvy's emphasis on clear communication.
- Experience utilizing AI to improve IT functions, such as help desk support, documentation, and management of SaaS applications.
Nice to have
- Practical experience in migrating emails and files to Google Workspace from alternative platforms.
- Familiarity with managing DNS records using tools like Terraform and GitHub.
- A background in the financial services sector or the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) industry, particularly with compliance tools.
- Experience in supporting IT aspects during business transitions and acquisitions.
- Skills in project management and managing vendor relationships effectively.
- Knowledge of SCIM provisioning and identity lifecycle automation tools, such as Rippling.
