You will partner with the Manager, Learner Experience to coordinate and execute a portfolio of student-facing initiatives that enhance engagement across the School of Business. This role provides a mentorship-focused environment where you will support peers, facilitate program delivery, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive community. You will gain practical experience in event planning, communications, data tracking, and relationship building while working alongside staff and student leaders. The position emphasizes professional development, allowing you to build a strong foundation in business-adjacent functions within a real-world post-secondary setting. You will play a key role in keeping students informed, connected, and supported at every stage of their Sait journey. What you'll do
Coordinate logistics for learner-focused events, ensuring smooth execution and positive participant experiences.
Develop and maintain communications such as emails, announcements, and digital content to engage the School of Business community.
Support data collection and tracking activities to monitor program outcomes and learner engagement metrics.
Assist in planning and facilitating workshops, information sessions, and other educational activities for students.
Build and maintain relationships with peers, staff, and faculty to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
Help manage timelines and task lists for learner experience initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.
Provide on-site support during school events, orientation sessions, and other programs as assigned by the Manager, Learner Experience.
Contribute to the design and implementation of initiatives that promote community, belonging, and academic success.
Monitor feedback from students and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving the learner experience.
Represent the School of Business in a professional and welcoming manner during all student interactions and activities.
Assist with the administration of program materials, ensuring resources are organized and accessible for students and staff.
Support the integration of new and continuing students into the broader Sait community through targeted engagement activities.
Maintain accurate records of program participation, attendance, and other relevant data as required by team processes.
Act as a liaison between students and staff, helping to communicate information and address questions or concerns.
Requirements
You must be a current Sait student enrolled in a School of Business program or registered for an upcoming semester.
You must be available to commit to the duration of the position, with a start date that aligns with program timelines and operational needs.
You must be eligible to work in Canada without requiring additional authorization at the time of application.
You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and faculty.
You must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to responsibilities and deadlines.
You must be comfortable using common software applications, including email, calendar tools, and office productivity programs.
You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative while collaborating effectively with others.
You must be willing to attend meetings, training sessions, and events outside regular class hours when required for program success.
Nice to have
Experience supporting student services, engagement, or administrative roles within a post-secondary environment.
Knowledge of Sait programs, services, and student resources within the School of Business.
Familiarity with event planning, communications, or data tracking tools used in educational settings.
Practical notes
Hourly rate is $18.22.
This is a student worker position with other casual engagement terms.
Position end date is March 31, 2027.
