Senior Creative Producer
Job description
Senior Creative Producer at Ruby Labs.
About the role
This role owns the end to end creative production system for a core D2C subscription product in the consumer AI category. You are the architect of the ad creative engine, defining which hooks and angles enter the testing pipeline and how they evolve over time. You will generate concepts, oversee production, run structured tests, and convert raw performance signals into the next wave of winning creative directions. The position demands fluency across both strategic framing and execution velocity, ensuring that every concept is built to move measurable business outcomes. You will be directly accountable for the health of CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROAS together with the User Acquisition team.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Own the creative angle strategy by defining priority hooks, pains, and value propositions for systematic testing across audiences.
- Develop and iterate a diverse set of creative concepts including demo-led ads, UGC-style video, static placements, and AI-generated formats.
- Translate complex product features and capabilities into concrete, scroll-stopping propositions that resonate with target users.
- Build and maintain a documented library of proven angles, hooks, and creative patterns that can be reused and expanded over time.
- Drive a high throughput creative pipeline across ad networks including Google, YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, and Applovin, shipping new concepts on a weekly basis.
- Structure and run systematic A/B testing frameworks, isolate key variables, and analyze results to arrive at evidence based conclusions.
- Produce clear, actionable creative briefs for designers to execute concepts that align with brand and performance goals.
- Own creative level metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROAS, monitoring them rigorously for anomalies and opportunities.
- Generate testable hypotheses from performance data, retire underperforming angles quickly, and amplify concepts that prove durable.
- Identify winning creative patterns, codify why they work, and scale them into new concept batches that compound results over time.
- Conduct structured creative performance reviews, distilling findings into clear recommendations for the next production cycle.
- Run ongoing competitor creative research using ad libraries and creative intelligence tools to spot whitespace and avoid saturation.
- Track emerging formats, platform policy shifts, and creative trends specific to the consumer AI category to keep the pipeline future proof.
- Collaborate daily with User Acquisition Managers, taking briefs on priority angles and adjusting production focus based on volume needs.
Requirements
- Hold 4 or more years of experience producing performance ad creative for D2C or subscription consumer products.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of high volume output, shipping and live testing multiple new concepts every week.
- Show deep working knowledge of major ad network ecosystems including Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and similar platforms.
- Exhibit demonstrated fluency with an AI production stack spanning image, video, voice, and scripting tools.
- Display the ability to read creative level performance data independently and act on it without an analyst in the loop.
- Have experience building structured creative testing frameworks rather than relying on ad hoc one off tests.
- Present a strong portfolio of ads with verifiable performance results, with applications required to include a CV and a portfolio of ad creative you personally produced.
- Operate reliably within the CET time zone context, as Ruby Labs runs within Central European Time and expects applicants from approximately ± 4 hours of CET.
- Communicate fluently in English on a daily basis for collaboration with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
- Align with a high performance culture where outcomes are valued as much as outputs and where accountability is non negotiable.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with consumer AI product categories and the specific user behaviors they target.
- Experience working with emerging AI tools for image, video, and audio generation in a production environment.
- Background in building creative systems and documented playbooks that standardize recurring workflows.
- Prior collaboration with User Acquisition or growth teams on performance driven creative decisions.
