About the role
This role leads the design and execution of field enablement strategies across North America for a leading data management and cybersecurity company. The Sr Manager partners closely with sales leadership, regional field teams, and product specialists to drive revenue growth and deepen customer adoption of the company's platform. You will own the planning, delivery, and ongoing optimization of training programs, sales tools, and go-to-market resources that empower field representatives to succeed. The position requires a strategic thinker who can translate high-level business objectives into actionable enablement programs that measurably improve sales performance and market penetration across the region.

What you'll do
- Own the annual field enablement strategy for North America and align it with company revenue goals and regional priorities.
- Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new field hires across multiple sales territories and product lines.
- Collaborate with product marketing to create battle cards, pitch guides, and competitive positioning materials used by field teams daily.
- Manage a growing portfolio of enablement assets including presentations, demo scripts, and objection-handling resources used by sales representatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of field training effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements based on revenue outcomes and feedback.
- Coordinate with regional sales managers to identify skill gaps and develop targeted coaching interventions for underperforming territories.
- Plan and execute field workshops, virtual webinars, and quarterly enablement events to reinforce product knowledge and sales methodologies.
- Track key enablement metrics such as training completion rates, sales cycle length, and quota attainment across all North American territories.
- Partner with the customer success organization to ensure field teams have the resources needed for post-sale engagement and account expansion.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to modernize enablement approaches and adopt new learning technologies that increase field productivity.
- Support the launch of new products and features by developing tailored enablement content and conducting enablement sessions for field teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across regional field teams through best practice documentation, peer learning circles, and cross-territory collaboration forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, marketing, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in sales enablement, field marketing, or a related go-to-market function within a technology company.
- Proven track record of managing enablement programs that measurably improved sales team productivity, quota attainment, and overall revenue results.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, CRM systems, and the full B2B enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology or software company with complex, multi-product portfolios and diverse customer segments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels and across functions.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training programs for diverse audiences across large geographic regions with varying needs.
- Comfort with remote collaboration and managing distributed field teams across North America while maintaining consistent program quality.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Prior experience managing field enablement specifically within the data management, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure sector is highly valued.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and modern sales enablement platforms such as Highspot, Seismic, or similar tools.
- Background in working with distributed field sales organizations spanning multiple time zones, territories, and cultural contexts.
- Certification in instructional design, adult learning theory, or a related professional development discipline such as CPTD or CPLP.
- Experience partnering with revenue operations and sales finance teams to build forecasting models tied to enablement investments.
