About the role
As a key member of the Global Alliances team, you will play a role in shaping and enhancing Rubrik's strategic partnerships. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of driving exceptional sales outcomes and strengthening collaboration with crucial alliance partners. You will be responsible for coordinating efforts across various teams to develop and implement strategic plans that focus on sales growth and pipeline development. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue through partner-initiated opportunities by effectively promoting Rubrik's innovative technologies.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance partnerships, focusing on sales growth and pipeline development, and drive revenue through partner-initiated opportunities by effectively promoting Rubrik's innovative technologies.
- Facilitate high-level account mappings and meetings to convert prospective accounts into successful proof of concepts and closed sales, leveraging your expertise in Data Management and Protection solutions.
- Conduct engaging training sessions for partner sales teams, enabling them to operate independently as an extension of Rubrik's sales force, utilizing your proficiency in sales enablement and partner training methodologies.
- Represent Rubrik at major events, articulating the company's vision to partners and customers alike, and influencing the direction of Rubrik's product offerings by playing a role in a leading go-to-market organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, leveraging your experience in generating significant pipeline growth and executing complex partnership programs within global ecosystems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with alliance and channel partners, leveraging your established reputation and relationships within the community.
- Analyze sales performance and pipeline management data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, utilizing your strong analytical skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in generating significant pipeline growth and executing complex partnership programs within global ecosystems, with a strong background in selling Backup and Recovery solutions.
- Strong sales orientation with a track record of initiating and closing deals collaboratively with account teams, and excellent presentation abilities capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Extensive knowledge of Data Management, Data Protection, and Storage sectors, with a strong understanding of sales planning processes, co-marketing initiatives, and joint engagement strategies across enterprise accounts.
- Established relationships and a solid reputation within the alliance and channel partner community, with a strong network of contacts and connections.
- Strong analytical skills for managing forecasts and reporting on sales metrics, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Experience collaborating on go-to-market strategies with major vendors like Pure Storage or Cisco, and familiarity with sales planning processes, co-marketing initiatives, and joint engagement strategies across enterprise accounts.

- Experience in managing and analyzing sales performance and pipeline management data, with a strong understanding of sales metrics and forecasting.
- Familiarity with tools for tracking sales performance and pipeline management, and proficiency in sales enablement and partner training methodologies.

Practical notes
- This position is eligible for commissions as outlined in the company's incentive compensation plan, with a salary range of $186,900 to $234,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
