About the role

Riveron is actively seeking a dedicated Finance Operations Analyst to join the Corporate team and take ownership of critical client billing and accounts receible functions. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting activities that ensure the accuracy and timeliness of client billing cycles. You will serve as a key support for the broader finance department, handling diverse operational tasks that contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. A significant portion of this role involves maintaining direct communication with leadership to investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies that may arise. The position requires a proactive approach to tracking both billable and non-billable expense reports to maintain financial transparency. You will also coordinate closely with third-party billing providers to streamline processes and resolve any issues efficiently. Ultimately, this role is integral to assisting the billing department with various operational needs and ensuring high standards of professionalism are upheld at all times.

What you'll do

• Execute client billing procedures and manage accounts receivable processes with precision and attention to detail.
• Track and analyze both billable and non-billable expense reports to identify trends and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with third-party billing providers to facilitate smooth transaction processing and address any operational gaps.
• Assist the billing department with various operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce processing time.
• Resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies directly with Managing Directors to maintain strong client relationships.
• Perform data analysis on financial trends and statement information to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Monitor account activities and implement controls to safeguard against discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support comprehensive financial reporting.
• Maintain detailed records of all billing activities and financial transactions for audit and review purposes.
• Contribute to the development of billing policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a corporate or client service environment demonstrating a solid understanding of financial operations.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel required to manipulate data, create reports, and perform complex calculations.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities independently without compromising on quality or accuracy.
• Strong communication skills essential for cross-functional collaboration and providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Experience with data, trend, or financial statement analysis to interpret financial performance and drive improvements.
• Bachelor degree in a finance-related field mandatory to ensure foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Capacity to maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with OpenAir is preferred as it will enable quicker onboarding and effective management of billing operations.
