A Juris Doctor and eligibility for NY bar membership as an in-house attorney are required. Experience with non-exempt workforces is a preferred qualification. Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements is required. Interest in developing legal generalist skills is preferred. Familiarity with marketing, advertising, media, tech, ecommerce, retail, manufacturing, or contract lifecycle management is a preferred qualification. A practical, proactive, creative, and risk-based approach to counseling and negotiation is required. Excellent judgment guides all decisions. Systemic and process-driven thinking scales legal services. Complex legal issues translate into clear, plain-English guidance for non-lawyers. Stakeholders across departments influence outcomes through autonomous collaboration. Multiple critical projects move forward under tight deadlines.
