About the role
You will own the design and implementation of backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, directly shaping the automation fabric that powers enterprise workflows. You will collaborate with senior engineers to build secure, reliable, and scalable software that enables customers to automate their most critical data exchange workflows. You will implement and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with diverse customer systems across cloud and on-premises environments. You will enhance monitoring, logging, and observability of the platform to ensure high availability and performance. You will ensure security and compliance controls are embedded across file transfer workflows and data pipelines. You will write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets enterprise standards and regulatory expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to architectural decision-making that defines the future of the platform.

What you'll do
- Develop backend services and microservices using Java/Spring Boot to power core automation capabilities.
- Solidify your understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles to guide solution design.

Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Bring 2-4+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent project work that demonstrates practical application of concepts.
- Show strong coding skills in Java, with hands-on experience in Spring Boot and building REST APIs.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts, along with familiarity with NoSQL data stores when applicable.
- Exhibit experience developing modern user interfaces using industry-standard frameworks and technologies such as React.
- Have practical experience with agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to deliver incremental value.
- Possess experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to build and operate distributed systems.
- Have experience with automated unit and integration test frameworks to maintain high code quality.
- Show a keen interest in secure file transfer protocols and enterprise software design patterns that support scalability.
- Display excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
