You will architect and implement robust integration solutions that connect the Documentum content platform with heterogeneous enterprise systems across the Qualysoft portfolio. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable integration workflows using industry-standard patterns and best practices within the Qualysoft delivery framework. This role requires deep expertise in Documentum internals coupled with the ability to design event-driven architectures that ensure data consistency and system reliability. You will act as a technical lead for Documentum-related initiatives, mentoring junior developers and guiding code reviews to uphold the highest standards of software quality. You will collaborate closely with business analysts and domain experts to ensure that integration solutions align precisely with client objectives and strategic goals. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying integration risks and proposing mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Design and develop enterprise-grade integration solutions using Documentum APIs, ensuring seamless content synchronization across distributed systems and business applications.
Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Documentum integration projects, defining clear interfaces and data mapping strategies.
Implement robust middleware components that facilitate communication between Documentum repositories and external line-of-business applications using standardized protocols.
Develop and maintain integration flows that automate content-driven processes, reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency for client workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot integration issues, performing deep diagnostics and resolving complex technical problems in production environments.
Optimize integration performance by fine-tuning connection management, payload processing, and error handling mechanisms to meet stringent service level agreements.
Create comprehensive technical documentation for integration designs, APIs, and configuration settings to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.
Apply unit testing and integration testing methodologies to validate integration components, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
Monitor integration health using logging and monitoring tools, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to maintain system stability.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration practices by researching emerging technologies and proposing innovative solutions for Documentum connectivity challenges.
Partner with solution architects to define integration landscapes, ensuring that Documentum components fit coherently within the broader enterprise architecture.
Support the deployment of integration solutions through CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated testing and streamlined delivery to production environments.
Engage in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate the technical capabilities of the team and promote adherence to best practices.
Assist in the development of reusable integration assets and templates that accelerate future Documentum projects and reduce implementation timelines.
Requirements
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline with a strong focus on software integration and data management principles.
You must have hands-on experience with Documentum products, including Documentum Foundation Services, Documentum Core Services, and Documentum Webtop, demonstrating a thorough understanding of their architecture and APIs.
You must be proficient in Java or C# programming languages, with the ability to develop integration components, scripts, and services for Documentum environments.
You must have experience working with enterprise service buses and integration frameworks such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar platforms to enable system interoperability.
You must demonstrate expertise in RESTful API design and implementation, creating well-structured endpoints that facilitate content management and document lifecycle operations.
You must have a solid understanding of database concepts and SQL, enabling you to interact with repositories and perform complex queries related to content metadata and versioning.
You must have experience with middleware technologies and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka to build asynchronous integration patterns.
You must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze intricate system interactions, diagnosing integration failures and proposing effective solutions.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly with services related to integration, storage, and compute resources.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to support deployment and scaling of integration services.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including OAuth, SAML, and TLS, to implement secure integration solutions.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to ensure integration reliability and performance visibility.
Background in regulated industries such as finance, insurance, or healthcare, where compliance and data governance are critical.
