About the role
You will analyze and document complex business processes and system requirements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between client needs and technical solutions. You will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, translating ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable, and testable requirements. You will facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to uncover pain points, define scope, and validate solution hypotheses with real user feedback. You will create and maintain detailed business process flows, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide the design, development, and testing phases of the project. You will assess current systems and workflows, identify gaps, and propose improvements that optimize performance, usability, and operational efficiency. You will support estimation activities, clarify backlog items, and ensure that deliverables meet agreed business objectives and compliance standards. You will continuously monitor solution performance, gather feedback post-implementation, and iterate on requirements to support incremental improvements. You will contribute to documentation standards, knowledge transfer activities, and methodology playbooks that ensure consistency across the portfolio of enterprise projects.

What you'll do
Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into structured specifications.
Map end to end business processes, identify bottlenecks, and define future state workflows that align with client strategic objectives.
Create comprehensive documentation including business process models, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with product owners, business users, and technical teams to prioritize requirements, clarify scope, and resolve ambiguities.
Perform gap analysis between current and desired states, assessing impact on operations, systems, and compliance obligations.
Define and validate test scenarios and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet business needs before and after implementation.
Support solution design and configuration activities by ensuring that business rules and process logic are correctly translated into technical specifications.
Monitor implementation progress, verify deliverables against requirements, and coordinate user acceptance testing activities.
Identify and document risks, dependencies, and constraints that could affect project timelines, quality, or regulatory compliance.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of business analysis artifacts, standards, and templates across multiple engagements.
Leverage process mining and data analysis techniques to derive insights that drive optimization and automation opportunities.
Coordinate with architects and developers to ensure that technical designs reflect business intent and non functional requirements.
Act as a quality champion by advocating for traceability, completeness, and consistency across the requirements lifecycle.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by capturing lessons learned and best practices to enhance delivery frameworks and client value.
Requirements
You possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field that provides a solid foundation in business analysis principles.
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or a similar role within IT or digital transformation projects.
You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise requirements.
You are proficient in documenting business processes, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications using standard modeling techniques and formats.
You have hands on experience with at least one requirements management or process modeling tool, such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar platforms.
You show solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile approaches, and how requirements evolve in each.
You communicate effectively in English, both in written and verbal form, and can adapt your communication style to different audiences.
You are comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment where priorities may shift and ambiguity is part of the daily routine.
You have a quality first mindset and a strong sense of ownership for the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of the requirements you produce.
Nice to have
Experience in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, Telecom, Retail & E commerce, Energy and Utilities, Automotive, Manufacturing, Logitics, or High Tech sectors is valued.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks, test management tools, and DevOps practices helps in collaborating effectively with testing and delivery teams.
Knowledge of automation platforms, CRM systems, or enterprise service integration concepts is considered a plus.
Experience with process mining tools or data analytics platforms to support discovery and validation activities is appreciated.
Understanding of Microsoft Cloud, strategic partnerships, and enterprise delivery models within a global consulting context is beneficial.
Practical notes
This is a full time position based in our Bucharest office at Bd. Iancu de Hunedoara 54B.
The role does not involve international travel at this time, and candidates must be eligible to work without requiring a visa for Romania.
