About the role
We are constructing a new position within our organization: a Vice President, North America Marketing who operates at the junction of commercial leadership and marketing excellence. This individual will function as a business partner responsible for owning revenue-linked marketing plans and converting them into measurable pipeline and growth. The role is situated in New York and requires presence in the office three days per week.
The Vice President, North America Marketing will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and collaborate closely with North America Sales Leadership as primary stakeholders. This position holds accountability for the complete integrated marketing plan for the region, managing strategy through activation. The leader will coordinate the full scope of our marketing Centers of Excellence, including brand, creative, growth, events, public relations and communications, product marketing, and marketing operations. The objective is to deliver a unified, high-impact go-to-market engine that aligns with commercial objectives. This is a role with revenue ownership, not a support function.
What you'll own
The Vice President, North America Marketing will own the end-to-end integrated marketing plan for the region, with direct responsibility for pipeline creation and progression in support of annual revenue targets. This leader will act as the primary marketing partner to North America commercial leadership and will play a key role in how our global Centers of Excellence translate strategy into region-specific execution. Success metrics include pipeline creation and revenue contribution in collaboration with the Americas Commercial leaders. Annual marketing plan attainment against agreed commercial goals is a core responsibility. The individual will own the narrative of PubMatic in the North American market, shaping how the market perceives our value and vision. They will leverage data and market insights to drive decisions and optimize campaigns continuously. This role requires the ability to manage ambiguity and lead cross-functional initiatives with clarity and purpose. The Vice President will ensure that all marketing activities are aligned with the broader business goals of the company.
Requirements
The candidate must possess three to five years of progressive marketing leadership experience focused on North America. A demonstrated history of owning revenue-linked plans and translating strategy into measurable pipeline is required. The role demands the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and coordinate agencies and internal teams effectively. Comfort with ambiguity is necessary, along with strong documentation and structured execution habits. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and decisively. They must have a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for influencing stakeholders at all levels. The individual must be comfortable working with data, metrics, and reporting frameworks to measure success. They must be willing to adhere to the company policies and standards that govern our operations globally.
Nice to have
Experience in programmatic advertising, martech, or ad operations is preferred.

Proficiency with CMS, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Jira, LinkedIn, Marketo, Slack, Salesforce is required.
Compensation and location
The position is based in New York, United States. Compensation ranges from $250,000.00 to $300,000.00 USD on an annual basis. Engagement is full-time.
