Senior Product Manager, New Demand Channels
Job description
About the role
The organization seeks a Senior Product Manager, New Demand Channels to join its teams in Redwood City and New York on a hybrid schedule. This role focuses on expanding Agentic and API-based activation channels within PubMatic's buyer solutions platform. The position sits at the intersection of AgenticOS and Activate, guiding how new demand channels integrate into the buy-side ecosystem. The candidate will operate in a fast-evolving, GenAI-driven advertising environment and will be responsible for fostering growth in emerging distribution pathways.
Key facts
Work location options include New York, US, and Redwood City, US. The engagement model is a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office and two days remote. The base salary for this role is 180,000 USD per year.
What you'll do
You will drive product delivery for non-programmatic publisher integrations into AgenticOS, balancing new feature development with ongoing platform evolution. This includes mapping how partner integrations connect to Activate and AgenticOS and translating those insights into product decisions for clients. You will own the product area for new demand channels, gathering requirements, defining specifications, and establishing key metrics. You will represent this product area to clients and internal teams, synthesizing feedback into actionable product inputs.
You will maintain a deep understanding of the non-programmatic publisher landscape and evaluate how PubMatic's approach compares to alternative integration paths. Communicating a clear roadmap for non-programmatic demand channels to clients, internal teams, and stakeholders will be a core responsibility. You will collaborate across AgenticOS and Activate to determine feature prioritization and manage the development backlog. Leading small-to-medium-sized go-to-market efforts for new channel launches with minimal oversight is also expected. You will clarify emerging conventions and help define standards where protocols such as OpenRTB are not yet established.
Requirements
Candidates must bring five or more years of product management experience, preferably within advertising environments. Core product management competencies are required, including requirements writing, product planning, backlog grooming, and roadmap communication. Familiarity with agentic platforms or AI-driven workflow tooling is necessary, with experience in OpenRTB or other programmatic protocols considered a plus.
You must be able to represent a product area independently to customers, gathering and validating requirements directly with client and business teams. The ability to lead go-to-market strategy for medium-complexity initiatives with limited supervision is essential. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Successful candidates will learn quickly, solve problems amid ambiguity, and thrive while collaborating within undefined channel structures.
Nice to have
Experience with agentic tooling or AI-driven workflow platforms that support advertising operations is valued.
Skills & tools
