Property Manager
Property Management Associates is seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee two properties totaling 72 units in West Hollywood, California. The selected candidate will manage all aspects of operations for these sites and will be provided with a free 1-bedroom apartment as part of the compensation package. This is an onsite, full-time role that requires direct engagement with residents and daily operational oversight.
What you'll do
- Execute comprehensive weekly walk-throughs to identify preventative maintenance priorities and ensure property standards.
- Conduct detailed unit inspections and coordinate all necessary upkeep to maintain high operational standards across both sites.
- Organize service notes and administrative workflows to streamline day-to-day management activities and improve efficiency.
- Manage the entire leasing cycle, overseeing move-ins and move-outs while actively marketing apartments through tours and outreach.
- Perform competitive market rent analysis and produce reports that support data-driven pricing decisions.
- Utilize property accounting software, particularly Yardi, to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance.
- Supervise maintenance staff and vendors to guarantee timely and high-quality execution of all service requests.
- Remain available for one weekend per cycle and respond to urgent issues on an on-call basis as required.
- Implement leasing strategies to optimize occupancy rates and meet property goals.
- Resolve resident inquiries and concerns promptly to uphold satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor budget performance and identify areas for cost control or revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align property operations with company objectives.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Driver's License and provide current evidence of auto insurance.
- Comply with all company policies, including the successful completion of a background check.
- Pass a DMV review as part of the pre-employment screening process.
- Undergo and pass a Pre-Employment Physical as part of the hiring requirements.
- Bring a minimum of three years of experience in conventional multifamily property management.
- Reside on-site at one of the managed locations as a condition of employment.
- Demonstrate strict adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity in all resident and stakeholder interactions.

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $23 to $25.00. In addition to the hourly compensation, the role includes a free 1-bedroom apartment. Property Management Associates provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance with employer contribution. Other benefits include a 401(k) with discretionary company contribution after one year, short-term and long-term disability coverage, critical illness and accident indemnity plans, and generous paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick time.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Driver's License and provide current evidence of auto insurance. Compliance with all company policies is mandatory, including the successful completion of a background check, DMV review, and Pre-Employment Physical as part of the hiring process. A minimum of three years of experience in conventional multifamily property management is required. The Property Manager must reside on-site at one of the managed locations.
Technology and Skills
Proficiency in property accounting platforms such as Yardi is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with residents, staff, and external partners. Effective organizational abilities and multi-tasking capabilities will support the management of diverse responsibilities. Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, is necessary for daily tasks and reporting.
