What you'll do
- Develop and maintain risk models that assess credit, market, and operational risks using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used in risk assessments.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risk factors that could impact the organization's financial health.
- Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries like Pandas or NumPy.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques applicable to risk modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to effectively communicate insights.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
