You are a driven sales professional who owns the entire sales cycle for heavy-duty used trucks from initial customer contact to final delivery. In this role, you own the responsibility of generating and closing business by identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions. You serve as the trusted primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their experience reflects the premium standards of the Premier Truck Group. This position requires a strong commitment to achieving market share targets and maintaining forecast accuracy through diligent reporting. You will facilitate the complete truck sale process, including vehicle preparation, trade appraisal writing, and financial services handoff. The role demands a high level of integrity as you represent both the dealership and the manufacturer in all interactions. Success in this position is defined by your ability to build relationships and move inventory efficiently while maximizing customer satisfaction. You are expected to support the organization's mission of operational excellence within the ONE Network.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify customer requirements and match them with the appropriate inventory of on-highway, medium duty, and vocational trucks.
Initiate and manage a proactive sales pipeline by sourcing new leads through telephone outreach, digital channels, and industry networking.
Execute complex sales transactions by coordinating with the financial services team to ensure a seamless transfer of ownership and financing.
Develop comprehensive trade appraisals and present clear value propositions to customers during the negotiation phase.
Maintain precise and up-time records within the Sales Overdrive/CRM system for every interaction and sales activity.
Orchestrate the logistics of truck movement, including preparation, delivery scheduling, and coordination with internal departments.
Champion post-sale support initiatives to ensure customer retention and identify opportunities for future business.
Represent the dealership at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and relevant events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Partner with the remarketing team to optimize inventory turnover and maximize profitability on the secondary market.
Act as a liaison between the customer, manufacturing partners, and internal departments to resolve issues and confirm satisfaction.
Perform detailed product knowledge acquisition to effectively communicate specifications, features, and benefits to diverse customer profiles.
Uphold the dealership's reputation by delivering exceptional customer service and total value solutions for parts, service, and truck sales.
Provide management with accurate market forecasts and sales reports to drive strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Attend industry events and external functions as assigned to strengthen relationships and promote Premier Truck Group solutions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to refine sales strategies and improve outreach efforts in key territories.
Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing retail automotive sales in every transaction.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with the premium brand image of the organization at all times.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required; combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Possess a valid driver's license to legally operate a motor vehicle as required by the role.
Demonstrate the ability to understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales.
Establish personal sales goals and implement a plan of action to achieve or exceed established performance metrics.
Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in compliance with company standards.
Show a strong commitment to results by providing management with frequent market and sales forecasts.
Be capable of managing the full sales process, including facilitating truck preparation, delivery, and after-sales support.
Display strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Possess basic computer literacy to accurately input data into Sales Overdrive/CRM systems.
