What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, while continuously monitoring progress against these plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives, to encourage team collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Utilize project management tools and software to track progress, manage resources, and report on key performance indicators.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Prepare and present project documentation, including proposals, status reports, and final deliverables, to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify lessons learned for future projects.
- Drive process improvements within the project management framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving project goals.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in stakeholder management and building strong professional relationships.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience in a technology or software development company.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles related to project management.
- Previous experience in mentoring or coaching junior team members.

- This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours, but candidates should be available for meetings during standard business hours in Texas.
