What you'll do
- Create detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) and collaborate closely with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure product excellence.
- Manage the daily product development lifecycle, ensuring that all activities align with the strategic goals of PayPay Securities.
- Encourage the swift incorporation of innovative ideas into our product suite, challenging conventional practices.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to pinpoint user challenges and devise effective solutions.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze user experiences and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for product enhancement.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on product vision and progress.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to inform product strategy and positioning.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps that reflect both short-term and long-term goals.
- Engage with users to gather feedback and insights, ensuring their needs are met in our product offerings.
- Prepare and present product updates and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and experimentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within an internet or web-centric organization, or in a similar capacity.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline or equivalent technical experience of no less than 3 years.
- Proficiency in Japanese is a must (native speaker or JLPT N1 level), with a preference for candidates who are also familiar with English.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
- A solid understanding of product management methodologies and best practices.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in Product Management specifically within the financial services industry.
- Business-level proficiency in English to facilitate communication with international teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.

Practical notes
- This position is exclusively available to individuals residing in Japan.
- PayPay Securities will not consider applications from candidates who are also applying to PayPay Corporation or PayPay Card Corporation.

Employment Status
- Full Time
Office Location
- Hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility between remote work and office attendance. Employees can choose their preferred working environment.
Work Hours
- Super Flex Time (No Core Time)
- Standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM, including a 1-hour break, totaling 7 hours and 45 minutes of actual work time.
Holidays
- Observance of Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays in Japan.
- A summer break of 2 days, typically taken between July 1 and September 30, subject to change.
- Year-end and New Year holidays from December 31 to January 3.
Paid leave
- Annual paid leave entitlement ranging from 1 to 10 days, allocated based on the month of joining the company.
Salary
- Annual salary is distributed in 12 monthly payments, determined by individual skills, experience, and performance metrics.
- Regular annual salary reviews to ensure competitive compensation.
