What you'll do

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex solutions across various projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to define and refine project scopes and deliverables.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and architectures, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including design specifications, system diagrams, and best practice guidelines.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into technical solutions that drive value and efficiency.

• Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our solution delivery processes.
• Participate in industry conferences and events, representing Bamboohr and sharing insights on architectural trends and innovations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software architecture or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their architectural principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience in designing scalable data architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
• Proven experience in leading architectural discussions and making strategic decisions that impact project outcomes.

Nice to have
