Parser is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Mobile & Platform Enablement team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our mobile and platform capabilities, ensuring that our development and operational processes are efficient and scalable. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and improve the overall reliability of our services. Key facts

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of mobile applications and platform services.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates into existing systems.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Implement security best practices across all stages of the development lifecycle, ensuring that our applications and infrastructure are secure from vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems and respond to incidents as they arise.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
• Collaborate with QA teams to establish automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of applications and infrastructure to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
• Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a strong focus on mobile application deployment and platform enablement.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their services and deployment models.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing company environment.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator).
