What you'll do

• Develop and implement integration solutions that connect Bamboohr's software with third-party applications and services, ensuring data flows smoothly and accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, software development, and customer support, to gather requirements and design effective integration strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing timely support to internal teams and external partners to minimize downtime and enhance user satisfaction.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, including workflows, data mappings, and API specifications, to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Monitor integration performance and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for integration development, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained across all projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to system integration, recommending new tools and approaches to enhance Bamboohr's capabilities.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and team members on integration best practices and tools, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software integration, with a strong focus on API development and management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Experience with integration platforms and tools, such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud services and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with data transformation tools like Talend or Informatica.
• Knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with data modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Trello, to manage project workflows effectively.
