- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing timely support to internal teams and external partners to minimize downtime and enhance user satisfaction.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, including workflows, data mappings, and API specifications, to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Monitor integration performance and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for integration development, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained across all projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to system integration, recommending new tools and approaches to enhance Bamboohr's capabilities.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and team members on integration best practices and tools, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software integration, with a strong focus on API development and management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Experience with integration platforms and tools, such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud services and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with data transformation tools like Talend or Informatica.
- Knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with data modeling.
