About the role
You will own the end-to-end analysis and translation of complex client supply chain challenges into clear, actionable solution requirements that directly support growth and delivery objectives. In this capacity, you will act as the primary liaison, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams throughout the engagement lifecycle. You will leverage deep expertise in supply chain operations to identify gaps, uncover risks, and define opportunities for measurable process and performance improvements. The role requires you to synthesize intricate business needs into structured, vendor-agnostic solution designs that are both practical and strategically aligned with digital transformation goals. What you'll do
Investigate and document current-state supply chain workflows across planning, logistics, transportation, and warehousing to uncover inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Facilitate and synthesize requirements gathering sessions with multi-disciplinary client stakeholders to define functional specifications and success metrics for supply chain initiatives.
Analyze RFP and IRF documentation, crafting solution narratives, effort estimates, and delivery methodologies that address specific client procurement criteria.
Develop detailed process flows, user stories, and business rule definitions that map client needs to the capabilities of supply chain platforms such as o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, and SAP IBP/APO/S/4HANA.
Conduct comprehensive fit-gap analyses to evaluate the alignment between client requirements and the functional capabilities of proposed technology solutions.
Design future-state operating models and process architectures that integrate data, analytics, and AI to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
Prepare high-impact client-facing materials, including executive-level presentations, solution decks, business case documents, and offering frameworks for discussion and review.
Support the development of reusable consulting assets, including service offerings, accelerators, and domain-specific frameworks to enhance practice scalability and consistency.
Collaborate closely with solution architects, technical leads, and implementation teams to define integration requirements, data models, and testing protocols for solution deployment.
Engage directly in client workshops, discovery sessions, and solution walkthroughs to validate designs, manage expectations, and refine requirements iteratively.
Requirements
Bring a minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in business analysis, consulting, supply chain transformation, or technology implementation roles within complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrate the ability to think holistically across the entire end-to-end supply chain ecosystem, avoiding narrow functional or siloed perspectives.
Possess strong domain knowledge in critical supply chain areas including planning, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, demand forecasting, and order management.
Show a proven track record of supporting or leading client-facing engagements that involve significant digital complexity, data analytics, and advanced system integrations.
Have hands-on experience with requirements engineering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, solution documentation, and sophisticated stakeholder relationship management.
Hold prior experience contributing to presales activities, developing proposals, responding to RFPs, and creating solution presentations for commercial and technical audiences.
Have a history of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams spanning business units, IT, enterprise architecture, data science, analytics, AI, and delivery operations.
Possess direct experience in supply chain digital transformation, planning transformation, ERP transformation, or analytics-led initiatives designed to improve supply chain performance.
Demonstrate deep supply chain domain knowledge, including an understanding of how planning, execution, and logistics systems support enterprise value creation.
Nice to have
Experience leading the practice direction and growth of the Supply Chain consulting service line while simultaneously delivering hands-on analytical and solution design work.
