About the role
As a Senior Power System Studies Engineer at Olsson, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with some of the largest technology firms and other critical clients in the industry. Your responsibilities will include conducting electrical engineering tasks, performing design calculations, drafting technical reports, and preparing essential documentation. A strong background in short circuit analysis and arc flash studies is essential for this position. You will also engage with various teams within Olsson, including technical and professional staff, and may require travel to job sites for observations and client meetings.

- Conduct detailed short circuit analysis and arc flash studies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and present technical reports that summarize findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, particularly in power systems.
- Proven expertise in performing short circuit coordination and arc flash studies (SCCAF).
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Familiarity with SKM and ETAP software is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.
