What you'll do
- Lead the daily operations of the Vertical Telecom group, establishing clear performance objectives that align with the overall goals of the company.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the growth and expansion of the telecom practice, including identifying new business opportunities and fostering existing client relationships.
- Oversee the successful delivery of telecom projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage project teams across multiple locations, coordinating efforts to optimize resource utilization and project efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, understanding their needs, and offering innovative solutions.
- Mentor and support team members by providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional development, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Evaluate team performance regularly, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and morale.
- Collaborate with other departments and project stakeholders to ensure integrated project execution and client satisfaction.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, landscape architecture, or a related field is preferred; an associate degree combined with relevant experience may also be considered.
- At least 8 years of experience in telecom, low-voltage systems, or a similar technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to manage teams and mentor staff effectively.
- Strong knowledge of telecom design standards, building codes, and project management methodologies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or RCDD certification is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with CAD/BIM software and telecom design applications is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about project and business development.
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and contributing to business growth.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple locations, often coordinating remote teams and resources.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions in telecom.
