What you'll do
- Lead design efforts and manage projects for large hyperscale data center campuses and colocation facilities.
- Prepare comprehensive planning and design documents, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct design calculations and maintain project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, providing guidance on complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including technical staff and external consultants, to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in site visits for project observation and client meetings, providing on-the-ground insights and support.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and standards to enhance project delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to inform design practices and client recommendations.
- Engage in problem-solving to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering issues.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team and across the organization.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant project experience in civil engineering, preferably in data centers or similar infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software is essential for design and drafting tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

- Experience with large-scale data center projects or similar complex engineering projects.

The salary range for this position is between $113,000 and $140,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation aligns with our Colorado office locations and reflects the value we place on expertise in the field.
