About the role
This internship places you at the center of Ogury's global ESG and social strategy, where your contributions will directly shape how the company meets its environmental and social commitments. You will own end-to-end execution of flagship internal programs, giving you real responsibility rather than limited observational tasks. Expect to work across environmental tracking, ESG reporting, and the design of community moments that celebrate employee milestones and belonging. You will leverage emerging technologies, including AI tools, to streamline communications, analyze insights, and generate innovative campaign concepts. This role requires proactive collaboration with senior stakeholders across multiple countries to align initiatives with global objectives. You will play a key role in strengthening the employee experience by driving engagement, wellbeing, and sustainable practices that reflect Ogury's values. This position is ideal for someone who wants hands-on ownership and visibility within a fast-paced, international adtech environment.
Key facts
1. Environmental & Governance
Conduct carbon footprint measurement and support activities related to maintaining our SBTi certification, collaborating with global stakeholders to gather and organize data.
Manage sustainability partnerships by supporting environmental impact programs, helping promote them internally and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Compile inputs for annual ESG and sustainability reporting, while actively educating and engaging employees on global ESG initiatives and topics.
2. Social & DEI Initiatives
Provide end-to-end management for key diversity, equity, and inclusion internal campaigns, covering planning, execution, and post-campaign analysis to raise awareness and build connection.
Map the external DEI landscape using AI tools for competitive benchmarking, creating creative recommendations and scoping potential future partnerships or initiatives aligned with broader goals.
Build and nurture the employee champions network by identifying and engaging employees worldwide who are motivated by sustainability and social impact.
3. Employee Experience & Wellbeing
Design and deliver purpose-led events on the global People Connection calendar, using AI tools to brainstorm concepts, draft content, and coordinate local event logistics.
Independently own milestone programs for new joiners and long-service anniversaries, managing vendor relationships, budget tracking, and global distribution logistics.
Plan and execute wellness events and interactive health activities while managing the day-to-day administration and internal promotion of the wellbeing platform.
Support the coordination of Community Day initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and effective communication across all offices.
Assist in developing internal communications that highlight ESG achievements and social initiatives to maintain high levels of employee engagement.
Monitor and report on the impact of social programs, using insights to refine future campaigns and improve employee participation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG principles into broader HR and People initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and implementation.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Sustainability, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience through prior internship, volunteer, or event coordination roles that have developed your practical skills in project management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
Capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Commitment to learning and applying ESG frameworks, sustainability concepts, and internal engagement best practices.
Willingness to collaborate across time zones and cultures, demonstrating flexibility and respect for diverse working styles across 18 countries.
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for communication, project management, and basic data tracking.
A genuine passion for creating inclusive workplace experiences and contributing to meaningful social and environmental impact.
Practical notes
Internship duration is 12 months.
Location is fixed in Barcelona.
Hours are standard office hours within the Barcelona time zone.
Applicants must have the right to work in Spain and obtain a visa if required for the duration of the internship.
