Key facts
What you'll do
Orchestrate the administration of social dialogue mechanisms, managing CSE meetings, union relationships, and local negotiations with strategic foresight.
Conduct rigorous legal research on French labor law and collective agreements to secure the company's position and ensure all practices are fully compliant.
Build and prepare all mandatory social reports, including the BDESE and the Gender Equality Index, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Monitor legal developments across France and translate complex regulatory changes into clear alerts and action plans for leadership.
Extend compliance expertise to subsidiary locations by benchmarking legal obligations internationally and coordinating with external counsel to maintain consistent standards.
Own complex HR datasets, maintaining meticulous trackers and delivering insightful analysis to inform strategic decisions on employee relations.
Provide expert guidance on all aspects of the Code du Travail, interpreting its nuances to support managers and employees in their daily responsibilities.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that reinforce Ogury's commitment to a safe, inclusive, and legally sound work environment.
Act as the central point for managing employee relations cases, ensuring every issue is handled with discretion, empathy, and strict adherence to legal requirements.
Champion a culture of constructive social dialogue, fostering honest communication and building lasting trust with all stakeholders.
Identify systemic risks within HR processes and proactively design controls that prevent issues before they arise.
Serve as the primary liaison with government authorities and legal representatives, representing Ogury's interests with professionalism and integrity.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to align employee relations practices with broader business strategies and objectives.
Ensure all documentation and communication related to employment law is precise, up-to-date, and reflects the latest regulatory requirements.
Requirements
You hold a Master's degree in Labor Law (Droit Social) or an equivalent qualification with extensive experience in French employment law.
You possess a thorough command of the Code du Travail and are fully aware of recent reforms and their practical implications for businesses.
You have a proven track record of managing complex employee relations cases and navigating intricate regulatory landscapes.
You are legally authorized to work in France without sponsorship, as this role requires immediate independence in handling sensitive matters.
You demonstrate exceptional analytical rigor, with the ability to manage large datasets and extract meaningful insights under pressure.
You have extensive experience producing mandatory social reports and are intimately familiar with BDESE and gender equality index requirements.
You are fluent in French, both written and spoken, to ensure precise legal drafting and clear internal communication.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders and external counsel.
You have a deep understanding of how French labor law applies to multinational companies operating in diverse regulatory environments.
You are meticulous in your attention to detail, ensuring that all legal documents and data analyses are accurate and error-free.
You have the ability to interpret ambiguous situations and apply legal principles to find practical and compliant solutions.
You are comfortable working autonomously and making sound judgments in situations requiring immediate action.
You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Experience benchmarking labor laws in multiple international jurisdictions to support Ogury's global operations.
