What you'll do
- Orchestrate the end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise financial services clients, including banking and non-banking institutions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Architect and execute relationship strategies with C-suite executives to align on aggressive growth targets and overarching business objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and execute high-impact expansion opportunities, including cross-selling and up-selling, to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Spearhead the pre-sales process and own the facilitation of Quarterly Business Reviews to demonstrate client success and uncover latent needs.
- Leverage advanced data analytics to monitor portfolio performance metrics and optimize the utilization and performance of consumer lending products.
- Synthesize customer requirements and translate them into actionable input for internal teams to directly influence product roadmap priorities.
- Develop and mentor internal team members on best practices for strategic account management and executive engagement.
- Drive the development of robust strategic account plans that document risk, value, and expansion pathways for the largest financial services clients.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to create tailored value propositions and compelling narratives for key stakeholders within client organizations.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies within the client portfolio to ensure retention rates remain at the highest industry standards.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate client feedback into tangible improvements and feature requests.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to position Nova Credit as the indispensable partner in cash flow intelligence.
- Establish and maintain governance cadences that ensure transparency and continuous improvement across key client relationships.
- Utilize forecasting methodologies to predict revenue streams from existing accounts and drive predictable growth outcomes.
Requirements
- Possess 8+ years of cumulative experience in enterprise account management, strategic partnerships, management consulting, or enterprise sales within the financial services sector.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing large financial institutions, including relationships with Top 20 banks and their executive leadership.
- Show the ability to synthesize highly complex financial and operational information into strategic narratives that resonate with executive-level audiences.
- Exhibit a history of balancing deep account management responsibilities with proactive new business development and pipeline generation.
- Display a strong sense of personal accountability and the discipline to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and demanding environment.
- Confirm the ability to travel frequently for client onsites, team offsites, and industry conferences as required by the role.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees in business or finance are a distinct advantage.
- Have a documented history of meeting or exceeding quota attainment in previous roles involving complex B2B sales cycles.

Practical notes
This role operates on a full-time basis with a hybrid schedule requiring presence in the New York, NY office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship at this time. Salary is determined based on experience, skills, education, and location, with a target total compensation package ranging from $264,000 to $330,000 USD per year. This package includes base salary, variable compensation, and equity grants, along with employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage, mental health support, and flexible paid time off.
